Stefano’s Wines

A special liquor licence enables Stefano’s to offer tastings and sales of Stefano’s wines which include a local, hand-crafted range and a premium, mostly South Australian, selection – all available for take-away.

Stefano’s wines offer two distinct selections. There is a local range made in conjunction with Bart van Olphen of Chalmers Vineyards that consists of small, hand-made quantities of Italian varieties such as fiano, vermentino, refosco and more. The other range is produced at Dorrien Estate in the Barossa Valley. These award-winning wines are made with fruit sourced in the King Valley, Barossa Valley and Fleurieu Peninsula.

Stefano has a proud history of involvement with the so-called alternative varieties and he has advocated strongly for locally made, artisanal wines.

As a failed oenology student back in Italy in the early 1970s, Stefano has endeavoured ever since to redeem himself in the wine industry.
